We are looking for a talented business development manager to join our team with a flair for capturing content. If you love your city and what it has to offer in terms of culture, food, drink, spaces, accommodation and attractions then this is the job for you!

We are looking for a someone who understands the importance of relationships. Someone who brings the right attitude to work with no ego other than to connect with likeminded people. You will be part of an exciting new project and will become the face of your city when it comes to leisure and hospitality venues.

Your experience includes

(Proven performance in) 

  • Research and identify new business opportunities through new target markets, existing & new partnerships, and establishing new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Prior success in a commission-based sales role is preferred.
  • Seeking out the appropriate contacts & decision makers in an organisation and build strong relationships with all key stakeholders and present how our products and services can support their requirements.
  • Managing a pipeline of opportunities, from inception to successful close using the available sales enablement tools and processes
  • Deep understanding of our products and services and can articulate these at all levels, to secure new business opportunities.
  • Conduct customer meetings and demos, face to face or online
  • Attend & represent the business at industry conferences and events, proactively engaging with new prospective clients.
  • Identify new potential partnerships, qualify the opportunity and integration capabilities & benefits to Hotal.
  • Identify companies within your City who we can work with on all their corporate meetings and away days
  • Support the Sales Director in delivering the new business strategy, have a good awareness of the industry landscape and can adapt and respond quickly to the changing climate.
  • Report to the Sales Director on a weekly basis on new opportunities, pipeline progression and new business wins/losses (conversion)
  • Strong time management and organisational capabilities.
