These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern membership of the Hotal Marketplace ("Marketplace"), operated by Hotal Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14109845) ("Hotal", "we", "us", "our"). By subscribing to a Hotal Marketplace membership, you ("Member", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

Hotal Marketplace membership is available at three tiers. A summary of features and pricing is set out below. Full feature descriptions are contained in the subsequent clauses of these Terms.
Collective — £149/month | £1,639/year
Partner — £299/month | £3,289/year
Accredited — £549/month | £6,039/year

Hotal reserves the right to update tier features with reasonable notice to Members. Material changes will be communicated by email no less than 30 days prior to taking effect.
Membership is available on a monthly or annual billing basis. Prices are as stated at the point of subscription and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
Payment is collected via card or Direct Debit through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorise Hotal to collect recurring payments in accordance with your chosen billing interval. Stripe's terms of service apply to payment processing.
If a payment fails, Hotal will attempt to collect payment again. If payment remains outstanding after reasonable attempts, Hotal reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership and recover any amounts owed.
Hotal may change membership prices on giving no less than 30 days' written notice. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel in accordance with clause 4 before the new price takes effect.
Monthly memberships continue on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled. Each monthly billing cycle constitutes a renewed term.
Annual memberships are for a fixed 12-month term from the date of subscription. At the end of the term, the membership will automatically renew for a further 12-month period unless cancelled in accordance with clause 4.
A minimum 3-month notice period is required to cancel membership at any tier. Notice must be given in writing to hello@hotal.co.uk. Where notice is not given, your membership will automatically renew and payment will be collected accordingly.
To cancel your membership, you must provide written notice of no less than 3 months to hello@hotal.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice period, not the date notice is received.
Hotal does not offer refunds for any unused portion of a membership period. If you cancel, you will retain access to Marketplace features until the end of the paid period.
Hotal reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership immediately where:
Where Hotal terminates a membership other than for breach or non-payment, a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees will be issued.
All members receive access to Hotal Pay, Hotal's payment processing and management tool. Hotal Pay is provided subject to its own terms of use. Further details will be provided upon setup.
All members receive a listing on the Hotal Marketplace platform and access to a venue dashboard. Lead generation is not guaranteed and depends on buyer activity and brief criteria.
Access to the Hotal industry directory is included for all tiers and is scheduled to go live in August 2026. Hotal will notify Members when this feature becomes available.
All members receive access to the members-only community platform, including an events calendar, resources, and member communications.
Partner members receive invitations to 2 Hotal Collective events per year. Accredited members receive invitations to 4 per year. Collective tier members are not entitled to event invitations. Invitations are subject to availability and Hotal's discretion.
Partner and Accredited members may receive priority consideration for client briefs where their venue meets the brief criteria. Inclusion on any brief is not guaranteed and is at Hotal's sole discretion based on brief requirements.
Partner and Accredited members receive a bi-monthly market insight report. Content and format may vary. Hotal reserves the right to amend the frequency with reasonable notice.
Accredited members are assigned a dedicated Hotal agent relationship. The assigned agent will conduct at least one venue visit per year once the Accredited membership is confirmed and payment is received.
The Hotal Accredited badge is earned through meeting Hotal's accreditation criteria. It is not automatically conferred upon subscription and is subject to annual review. Hotal reserves the right to withdraw the badge if accreditation standards are no longer met.
Agent network visibility is a planned feature scheduled for launch in 2027. This feature is not currently available. Hotal will communicate to Members when this feature launches and what it includes.
For Accredited members, an annual agent visit and formal assessment programme is scheduled for 2027. This is not currently available. Hotal will communicate separately regarding this feature ahead of launch.
Where a booking is made via the Hotal Marketplace or through a Hotal agent introduction, commission is payable as follows:
Commission is collected at source through Hotal Pay at the point of payment. A protected agent commission of 6% is included within the total commission rate at all tiers. Full commission terms are set out in the Hotal Pay terms of use.
Resort and multi-site venues (those with 150 or more keys or 3 or more event spaces) are not covered by standard tier pricing. Bespoke pricing and terms apply and will be agreed separately with Hotal. If you believe this applies to your venue, please contact hello@hotal.co.uk.

All content, materials, branding, and data on the Hotal Marketplace platform are the property of Hotal Ltd or its licensors. Members may not reproduce, distribute, or use Hotal's intellectual property without prior written consent. Members grant Hotal a non-exclusive licence to use venue content, images, and information submitted to the Marketplace for the purposes of operating and promoting the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms limits Hotal's liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Hotal processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at hotal.co.uk/privacy. By subscribing, you confirm that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
Members are responsible for ensuring their own compliance with applicable data protection laws in relation to any personal data they process in connection with their use of the Marketplace.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your membership shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Hotal reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by emailno less than 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of your membership after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel in accordance with clause 4.
